Suddenly I’m all over Selected Ambient Works 85-92. I ignored this stuff for like 15 years! I grew up listening to a lot of electronic music that poked fun at dance music, spent my teens thinking I was too cool to dance, or something crazy and naive like that. Not that this album is meant to function as dance music exactly. Whatever!
